MCPON John Perryman
A Conversation with the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Leader | 10:30-11:30 AM EASTERN
Every Sailor starts somewhere.
Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) John Perryman began his Navy career by completing boot camp at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes—the same starting point for today’s enlisted Sailors.
Today, he serves as the Navy’s senior enlisted leader, advising Navy leadership on issues affecting Sailors and their families and traveling throughout the Fleet to hear directly from the men and women serving today.
Hear his perspective on leadership, readiness, quality of service, the enlisted experience, and what it means to build a successful career in the United States Navy.
For anyone currently supporting a recruit or new Sailor, this conversation offers a unique look at the journey ahead.
New to the Navy? You Belong in the Conversation
You do not need to understand Navy ranks, acronyms, ships, commands, or traditions to attend.
In fact, this series is a great place to start.
The SITREP Speaker Series brings Navy leaders, Sailors, veterans, families, and the public together for conversations about the issues shaping the Sea Services today.
Whether you have served for decades, have a family member currently in boot camp, are supporting a Sailor just beginning their career, or simply want to better understand today’s Navy, you are welcome.
Come with questions. Leave with a better understanding of the Navy—and the community your loved one is becoming part of.
Attend from Anywhere
Both programs are available in person at the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C., and virtually, making it easy for Navy families and supporters across the country to participate.
